I experienced a paradigm shift with my stepmother. I thought she was going to be some rude person that thinks she always has to have the attention. She was the complete opposite. She is the nicest and more understanding person that I have met. She has a sense of humor and knows how to have a fun time. She includes me in everything that they do when I visit them. I am glad that I saw what could happen when you actually try and get to know somebody.
That is super cool Taylor. I think it's awesome that she does that. I just hate when I have a paradigm shift about someone and then I feel horrible because for the longest time I thought they were a real jerk.
I really try not to judge anything by its cover or people by what I hear but I will admit I have before. I know I have had a couple paradigm shifts with how I think or feel about a person but nothing really sticks out to me as a huge paradigm shift. Well I guess this one time when I lived up in Iowa there was this really run down, ghetto type of restaurant and I was all like "Oh my gosh I am not going in there I will get stabbed or something and probably get sick from the food." Well I ended up going there and eating and it was the best Mexican food I have ever had in forever or ever. Now whenever I go back up to Iowa to visit I don't let anything stopping me from eating there. It is the bomb.
I experienced a paradigm one time at work. We hired a new RN who never smiled, and always looked mad, like she didn't want to be there. It turns out she was very nice, and a very reliable person. So in case anyone needed help, they knew they could ask her because they knew she was willing to help. She was one although who had the title "RN" was always willing to help. Which is great, because in a place like this you need teamwork.
When i can to school Wednesday, i thought it was going to be another boring year. I hate coming to school. But so far its not that bad. Another good example is Rich and I. Rich and I hated each other for some reason i dont even remember but we did. We always were at each others neck and when i found out we was coming to Pierce i thought we were going to kill each other. But, Rich and i are BEST friends now we do every thing together like making PPJ's and helping old people cross the rad or even taping frogs to rockets. We are best friends.
I havent really experienced a paradigm shift. I think the reason is because I just do what I know. I don't really try new things much. When i do though I usually know what im getting into before had or I know the person before hand.
i judge people sometimes before i know them a lot. but when i get to know them i realize they really are not as bad as i thought they were going to be. one example would be i met this person a few years ago an i thought they were weird and that i would never be friends with them. i got to know them over the years and now were best friends
i have experienced a paradigm shift the reason is because i work hard everyday like when it comes to school that is working hard every day. and i think another reason is because i try a lot of new things. i also help a few people like i help my dad a lot.
I judge people before i get to know them and I know that i shouldnt because after i get to know them i realize they are not what i thought they would turn out to be. Perfect example would be me and Jarred because we never got along tell i came to pierce and now we are best friends
its not good to judge before you know the person get to know them and then base your understandings off of the information most people have that mindset
I used to be afraid of snakes when i was younger. But now I'm not afraid of them since i have held snakes now. I also used to be very close minded and didn't like change that much. But now I'm very opened minded than what i used to be when I was younger.
I had a paradigm shift about the people and community of Pierce. Coming from a bigger town like Norfolk I guess at first I had my own opinion of it. Everyone told me people here were stuck up, self-centered, and way to focused on sports. Well now that i have spent some time here, i realize that not everyone is like that in fact very few are. I feel more comfortable with people here the i did in Norfolk even.
i experianced a paradigm shift when i started school my senior year i thought it was just going to be a drag of a year but for the most part i am enjoying it most people that i talk to say they wish they could go back to the days of high school but i think most of us seniors are just ready for it to be over and to start our lives anew.
Yes I have because I was friends with a Ethan and now since I join sports I made more friends when I go threw the sports. When I do wrestling sometimes make friends with the person that I wrestled or been wrestling with threw the year.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it crazy how we can think something like that just by the way people portray themselves and their emotions.
