Welcome! Here's the Deal:

Hello, Applied Communications! You and your classmates will be using this space to reflect on assigned journal questions over the 7 Habits book, as well as learn from your classmates' journals.

Important notes:

• You are required to answer the questions assigned by Mrs. Legate before the following class period
• Each post may have different requirements regarding length, paragraph or list, complete sentences, etc. so please pay close attention to the instructions Mrs. Legate gives you for each post
• Unless you are the first blogger on a question, you are REQUIRED in your post not only to write your own response to the question, but to comment on or question something that was posted by another blogger on the same question.
• Maybe you agree and want to elaborate.
• Maybe you disagree and want to offer a new perspective for your classmate to consider.
• Maybe you want to simply point out that a classmate did some excellent thinking or writing in his/her post!
• No matter what, your responses to classmates MUST be positive and encouraging in nature, NEVER used to put down or devalue your classmates or their ideas. It is possible to disagree with someone without being negative.
• Responding to each other's ideas on the blog will help teach us:
• Community-building
• Questioning
• Valuing what others have to say
• Being tactful in online forums.
• Disclaimer: If any of these four rules are broken by bloggers, the rule-breaker will be required to address classmates on the blog with a written apology and serve an after-school detention with Mrs. Legate.
