  1. One thing that really stood out to me would be the part about smoking and you can quit whenever you want. I honestly think it's not that easy. Just because you say you can quit whenever you want, you just can't. It takes along time to do that. As the book said, you can get cancer, you're fatigued all the time, and it makes your breath stink. That's all true. Working in the health care facility and seeing other people in the same facility smoke. I think they're stupid, they know the consequences of smoking, and they choose to do it anyways. Like the nurses who tell their patients to stop smoking, because that's the reason they get sick and have to come to the hospital all the time. They're actually Hippocrates, they're telling them to do something, but then they do it.

Another thing that really stood out to me in this chapter were the refusal skills. I think they could really be helpful. If you fell pressured into doing something, the refusal skills would be good. Especially if you really don't want to do it, but you get pressured into it. Like a time I got asked to smoke or drink, I just simply said no because right now, I have a good reputation, and I don't want to screw it up by doing something like that. It can make you do strange things. I can't even take cough medicine or Excedrin Migraine, that even makes me do strange things, or say weird things. I couldn't imagine what I would be like if I did drugs.

    3. I agree that saying No to somethings really needs to be pushed a lot more. In elementary school that is all they taught us was how to say no. Back then it really didn't make sense to us, but now we need it more than ever.

  2. The most that I stood out in is caring for your body. Here are Examples, Eat good food, Relax in the bath tub, bike, lift weights, get enough sleep, Practice yoga, play sports, take walks, stretch out, do an aerobics works. For me I a only do a couple of these things like play sports, lift weights, I also walk everyday to classes or anywhere hat I am not in a vehicle or siting down.

  3. I disagree that you are what you eat. because you can choose to eat your favorite foods but also can go on a diet. People choose to eat because there are under stress or upset with something in there live and the way they take care of it is by they eat or sit down all day and they don't take good care of them self. You are really not who you are what you eat you choose to stop eating every minute of the day and eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  4. what stood out to me was the caring for your body. somethings were like eat good food, exercise, get enough sleep, and dont over work your body on one thing. i dont care for my body as much as i should but i do some of theses things like exercise and get enough sleep. i dont as healthy as i should but i still eat some things that are healthy for you. i think its a good thing to care for your body because its your body and it will be with till the day you die.

i think another good one was the refusal skill. i think its important because a lot of people dont use this skill because they all cave into peer pressure. i think people need to practice this more because if they are out with friends and they are doing drugs or drinking than their friends offer them some and they keep saying no than they eventually cave into peer pressure instead of standing their ground and make bad decision after that because they get hooked on it or something.

  5. A thing that stood out to me in this chapter is "Caring for your body". everyone needs to take care of their body in many ways such as having a good sleeping schedule and having some sort of daily exercise and also eating healthy. eating healthy is a major step to caring for your body the things you put into your body is what determines how much energy you have and also your body figure would you rather be healthy or be one of those couch potatoes that does nothing all day maybe on the weekends it is alright but not every day of the week.

Another thing that stood out to me in this chapter would be "Refusal skills" every single person in the world needs to work on this such as if your friends are asking you to come out and party but you know its wrong you think about it for a little bit and then go out your putting yourself in a win-loose situation your friends win because they got you to cave in to pear pressure and you loose because your hurting your body and also risking to get yourself in trouble with the law and also with your parents. we all make bad decisions but sometimes making bad decision and getting caught is the only way some of us will learn.

  6. I loved this Habit. One thing that I really agreed with was "Laugh of You'll Cry." I love that he says laughing is so important. I believe that it is also. I learned that laughing is releases endorphins, that are the brains natural painkillers. That's awesome! I also agree with him when he says that you have to learn to laugh at yourself. I think that people take themselves to seriously at times. I do this sometimes because when I mess up, I am so mad at myself. I feel that if I would laugh at myself when I do things like this, I would be a more happier person.

"It's All About How You Feel, Not How You Look" I couldn't agree with this more. I see this with my society a lot. People have to have the latest pants, or shirt. That is all that matters to them. I feel like they don't think about how they feel, only how they look. I used to be just like this. I would be only pay attention to the clothes that I bought, but not how I felt handing over the money just to buy them.

  7. This whole chapter was really helpful. It tells you what you need to do so be better and healthier at what you do. I tells you how to take care of your body, brain, heart, and soul. I think everyone can learn from this chapter. I especially like was the refusal skills.

Another thing that i liked about the end of this chapter was the "I can Quit Whenever I Want". the facts that are presented in that chapter at crazy cool and helpful. Like who knew a pack a day was $1,000 at the at the end of the year. I didn't know so many people smoked. Thankfully i have never smoked and i never will.

  8. What stood out to me was caring for your body. Somethings were like ear good food exercise and sleep. I say this because i don't take as good care as my body as i should.

Another thing was i can quit when ever i want. A lot of people say this but if you dont have the will power to quite then its not going to happen and if you buy a pack a day it leads up to 1000 a year thats a lot of money to be waisting

  9. Habit 7 was probably my favorite part of this whole book because it made me stop and take time to think on the things i could change about myself an dhow to do so. "Caring for Your Body" stood out to me because i feel that sometimes i just dont care for my body as well as i could. Like eating good foods sometimes i find food that tastes good but isn't necessarily good for me. Exercise is another, ill just come right out and say it, i get lazy. Most of the time i am either over focused on something else or i get lazy. Im sure if i were to exercise more i would feel less stressed and more confident about myself. Relaxing is also a big one. I often spend too much time over thinking that i dont give myself time to look at and enjoy life. Also the "Caring for Your Soul" part of this chapter stood out because this is something i have been absent-mindedly been working on. It makes a few suggestions on how to do so. The suggestions that i already work on are listen to music, drawing, writing in a journal, and thinking deeply. In most cases when i feel overwhelmed i just go where i can be alone, turn on some music, start thinking, and most of the time i start drawing to basically take out my thoughts on paper. I write in a journal on a daily bases to help me keep track of my thoughts. I do this in hopes that i wont over think as much so far its been working, even though there is still subjects i over think on, mostly the ones i have no control over.

"Caring for Your Heart" is another that stood out to me because i also do do that as well as i could. I let myself get hurt way to easily. BUt i do make alot of deposits into my Personal Bank Account. I do things like do small acts of kindness and tap into my talents, which makes me realize my self worth. Laughing is also something i need to work on. It seems to have many benefits to the heart, mind, and soul. Things that laughing does like helps us cope with the difficulties of life is something that i could benefit from so much. I understood just about everything that was read about in this book because ive had to relate at one point or another in my life through experience.

  10. Something that stood out to me is it helped me on how i can stay healthier about like the smoking or anything like junk food and whatever else that isn't healthy for my body.

ideas i disagree on is the i can quit whenever i want to i disagree on this because if you just give up and dont even try anymore than you do not want to do that.

  11. I really enjoyed this chapter. It all stood out to me. I have always been so wrapped up with work, school, friends and other problems to even think about caring for myself. I liked the caring for your heart part of the chapter because it made me think that I have made a lot of deposits into rba's that didn't matter. I have been really trying to work on becoming friends with people that matter and care for me as much as I do for them and not being friends with people that suck energy and hurt me.

I also really enjoyed reading the "caring for your body" part of the chapter. I like to learn about how to help yourself be healthy by sleeping and eating right. I almost always tel myself I will go to bed earlier or eat better and I never follow through. This makes me want to take that extra step and actually do it.

  12. One part of habit 7 that kind of stood out to me was caring for your body. if you dont care for your body then you wont have the energy to do anything. also you will be more susceptible to disease.

There are a few things that could help you care for you body. one is getting enough sleep. this gives your body a chance to help. also you need to eat healthy and not eat a lot of junk food. lastly having good hygene

  13. I agreed with Habit 7 because I do need to take care of myself and not be lazy. I agree that i need to get the sleep i need instead of running myself into exhaustion. Also that I need to eat more food and not so little food.

I relate to not getting the right amount of sleep i need and sometimes it does not work well for me. I have also worn myself thin sometimes with not managing my time wisely and get overwhelmed sometimes that i stop doing something and don't go back to finishing it.
