  2. Habit 3, put first things first is the habit that is most important to you. The reason for this is because I like to get my homework and whatever I need to do for school done either in class, or right away when I get home. It makes me feel better knowing that I have what I need to get done out of the way so I don't have to worry about getting a detention for not having it done.

Otherwise, if you put it off til last minute, you will hurry through it, and not do as good of a job if you would have sat down, and read everything through to answer the question correctly. I do this not only at school, but at work, and home. That way I can free up some time for other things. Like hanging out with friends, or doing some family activities.

    1. I agree with you when you say we will just rush through something to get it finished. I think that's why most people fail at life!

  3. One of the 7 habits i think is most important is put first things first. the reason this is because i would rather get my stuff done because then you have more time to go out and do things or just to relax. this way you don't have to worry about it not being done and having to rush through it and worry about getting a bad grade.

    1. Also why its my favorite habit is being because that I always put things last then whether doing it right a way. When I put first thing first I don't have to worry about it later and I won't get in trouble for it either. Its nice to put first things first.

  5. i think the habit put first things first is important. i think its important because it teaches how to put the important things first and get them done instead of waiting till the last minute to get it done. it also tells that if you dont rush to do things than you can spend more time on it and do a better job on it

  6. I think the most important habit is either "Think first to understand and then be understood" or "Sharpen the saw" or "Put first things first". All the habits were important to me but those are the ones that really helped me out the most.

I think "Put first things first" is a big one because you need to be proactive and have goals and not procrastinate to get things done on time and have them done right. This is a big thing that really does follow you through life with work, college and other things like family. I also said "Seek first to understand then to be understood" I loved this habit because it helped me understand other's feelings as well as my own. I think I have become a better listener and communicator because of it. This habit is huge in life because you will have to communicate with others whether you want to or not..Unless you move into the woods out in Alaska and never go into town for groceries because you grow your own food type of thing. I think this habit really helps with work, school and relationships. Lastly, I said "Sharpen the Saw" because if you're not up to speed and happy it makes it hard to do all the other habits like put first things first and communicating and synergy...I am a firm believer that you have to be happy and healthy to lead a proactive and productive life.

  7. I think the one habit that is most important is "Be Proactive". I say this because of the part when he talks about being reactive and proactive. I see myself being more reactive than I should be. I know that to be a better me I need to do less of that. I guess I get it from the people that I hand around, and I need to change that. I think that if people were to be more proactive the world would be a better place.

Another reason I like this habit is when he says we can control only one thing. Most of us wish we could control EVERYTHING that happens to us. I totally agree with him when he says we can't control the color of our skin, and where we were born. Could you imagine the world if we could all control what we look like and all that jazz? It was be a zoo! Sometimes we just have to be happy with who we are. The constant struggle to always be better than someone else probably won't stop. We just have to cope at some point.

    1. That is another important habit, Taylor, I agree with you about being more reactive than proactive. I can also be that way.

  8. In my opinion the most important habit to me is "First things first" because i like to try and not procrastinate i like to get things done on time or even sooner i like working ahead and being productive in my leisure time.

Otherwise if you wait to do all of the things you need to at the last minute it becomes rushed and you might have a chance of doing it sloppy or not even caring which is a bad attitude to have always try to stay positive even if it is hard.

  9. I think habit 1 is the most importent because with out it how do you do the rest? You have to be proactive to have the motivation to do the rest of the habits. If you dont think proactive, you wont be happy and you may start caring less and choosing wrong choices.

  10. I thought that Habit 7 was the most important. Not only did it explain the different parts of "sharpening the Saw", but also, it explained how to do so. In the taking care of your body section it gave suggestions of ways you can take care of yourself. Same with the rest of its subtopics such as taking care of your mind, heart, and soul. YOu need to be healthy to live a great life.

This habit i also thought was the most important because it combines the other habits in with it. It makes suggestions on how to change your bad habits into good ones. It explains what you need to accomplish to achieve your goals. The things it says in Habit 7 i can use to break the other habits. Like taking care of your soul how it suggests writing in a journal or drawing. I do that almost everyday and it helps with my over thinking habit and helps me organize my thoughts.

  11. I thought habit one was one of the most important habits. First things first. This is a good habit because you are less stressed out. if you dont procrastinate then you wont worry about getting it done as much.

The second most important habit is probably think first to understand then be understood. im not always not good at listening. sometimes i space out and dont even hear what they are saying. other times i will be listening but i just dont retain the information because i am thinking of something else.

  12. I think the most important habit is from the book is Habit #1 because i think most people should be proactive and not reactive. I think if people were more proactive people wouldn't have less friends but have more friends if they were.

I think that people who are reactive don't think of the consequences that could happen to them if they keep being reactive and not proactive. Also that they would do better in their lives if they made sure to talk to people and listen instead of reactive and not listen.
